Today was a laid back day. The scouts that remained at camp had no program scheduled for today other than a service project. The other scouts are currently on the Lötschenpass hike. (As you may be able to tell, I avoid all possible hikes.)
Service Project
This wasn't too exciting, but went towards one of our camp awards. Basically... we had to stack lots and lots of dead brush in a giant pile to be mulched later on.
The Rest of the Day
We pretty much just sat around talking for the majority of the day. We went to a local restaurant with three names for lunch, they include "Crystal Café", "Crystal Pub", and "McDoris". I really do not have any idea why they have three different published names, but the french fries were absolutely spectacular. We had political debates with Danish neighbors. We watched the most insane game of soccer imaginable, there were at least 50 people on the field at once. We witnessed a huge gradient of climates, from sweltering hot in the afternoon, to extremely cold right now. I learnt how to sing "Happy Birthday" in Dutch. We met up with a group from Hong Kong that arrived today. Nothing very very interesting happened today, but I know that I'm looking forward to canyoning and white-water rafting.
Conclusion
I'm still suffering from the side-effects of the disco. This being a sore throat, problems with talking, exhaustion, and sore legs, but it was worth it.That's all I have for now. Cheers!

Note: Keep the comments coming!
Dan (myself) says "Hi to mom, dad, Lori, Eliana, Andrew, Grace, Lalita, Eric, and everybody else, I miss you all dearly."
We are supposed to get snow on Monday

Hahaha!! (Laughing at your comment of secretness) I agree... But it's your fault, anyway XD. What's with the sore legs, huh? I didn't think it was possible to disco too hard... Sounds like a fun, laid-back day. Those are the best.
Geez, it's getting boring around here. Something funny you might appreciate:
Andrew and I planned to work on our PreCalc summer assignment together, and I was scheduled to arrive at his house at 4:30. Andrew told his Dad that I was coming over, who promptly felt he had to "remind" Andrew that "Lori is Dan's girlfriend." It was sooooo funny. Andrew was just like, "Dad... I have a girlfriend." to which Mr. Nguyen responded, "Yes, I know. Just... you know."
So there you have it, the only funny thing that's happened since you left *cries*. Well, not really. Oh, and Anna (of the Popo sort) now reads this, and commented on how cool it was that you went to Gruyeres! She's been there too. That's all ^^.
gee you guys are having fun. We spent a day at 6 flags in New England. Instead of snow on Monday it will be about 92 F and we will all be melting.
Have fun, from Mac
Hi Dan,
Somehow I don't see this troop as a bunch of dancing fools, but I look forward to the pictures. Tell David we miss him and expect mass quantities of chocolate.
Thanks Dan for all your great writing.

Oh, nevermind, Anna has never been there XD. She loves the cheese there, though!! "It's my favorite. My very favorite" she says. We're having a sleepover! *dances* Not that you care. Hiking on glaciers and whatnot. Rabu!
